Who can repair motherboards for my Performa 460 - Recap & pad repair
So .. while I can do soldering and repair - Ive damaged a few pads on the motherboard and that's beyond my level of skills to correct.

I need a motherboard re-capped and 2 pads repaired to complete the re-capping process. I also need a LC style power supplyly re-capped.

Preferably, I would prefer to work with some one who works on classic macintoshes (Pre G3 PowerPC era)

Please respond with factual leads .. Im more concerned with reliability of repairs overall.

Thanks in advance,
Mike.

Hi Mike, sorry to hear about your damaged board. As always, the first question is: which part of the US are you located in?

Tom Andrews of Amiga of Rochester recaps and repairs vintage Macs. I have used his services in the past, including recapping a LC line power supply.

I have too, cannot recommend him enough as he saved my LC III from a botched recapping job by yours truly and he does amazing recaps and repairs

Those two don’t seem too bad to repair. If you were nearby, I’d be happy to help. I’ve done these repairs a few times before. However, as others have suggested, you can’t go wrong with Amiga.
