Assuming you had an HDI-20 to DB-19 adapter cable (don't know if anyone ever made one), would the PowerBook floppy drive work off a desktop Macintosh's floppy port? (i.e. IIci, SE, etc.) | Posted by: Arbee on 2025-09-10 09:35:04
It should - the IWM/SWIM interface to the drive is very much not flexible, and the PowerBook 140 schematics don't show anything weird in that area. Obviously nobody's ever tried it though. | Posted by: obsolete on 2025-09-12 14:21:58
