SCSI IDs for internal CD-ROM drive?

Was there a standard SCSI device ID apple used for the internal SCSI CD-ROM drive across the catalog, or did different models have different IDs?

Internal SCSI CD-Roms are preconfigured as SCSI ID 3 as far as I know. http://www.essentialmac.com/fix/scsi.html

They usually have jumpers.

If I have to set one I would use 6.

They can be set to any valid non- conflicting SCSI ID but as noted above, Apple usually used ID 3. I'm not certain but I think holding down the C key at boot just tells the machine to boot from the device at ID 3.
