| SCSI IDs for internal CD-ROM drive? |
Posted by: joethezombie on 2016-10-08 11:32:44 Was there a standard SCSI device ID apple used for the internal SCSI CD-ROM drive across the catalog, or did different models have different IDs?

Posted by: trag on 2016-10-14 00:02:12 They can be set to any valid non- conflicting SCSI ID but as noted above, Apple usually used ID 3. I'm not certain but I think holding down the C key at boot just tells the machine to boot from the device at ID 3.
