It's a bit of a truism that axial electrolytic capacitors don't normally go bad. But they still do sometimes! Always worth a check when going over a board that has them... |

(This is a 128k analogue board that was upgraded at some point early on to a 512k.) |

I found a couple similar to this on both an original 512 and also on an upgrade board from this era. |
