| iBook G4 - Bluetooth File Sharing in 10.4 |

My iBook can "see" the bluetooth of my M4 Mac Mini running Sonoma but it fails to pair during the step when it wants me to type the confirmation PIN on the other device. I read somewhere that PPCs can exchange files via bluetooth with Applie Silicon Macs still, anyone know how? |

They need to have compatible file sharing profiles available. Without that, you can just use the base level bluetooth profiles that don't require pairing to function -- you can send short messages that way. |

I am able to use WiFi for file sharing with my iBook G4 without issue. You do need to be using Tiger or later though in order to use modern WiFi. I can usually barely get Bluetooth to work even under ideal circumstances... |
