| iBook G3 TL2001 hdd size? |
Posted by: jholt5638 on 2014-10-29 18:27:23 What is the largest HDD that you can put in a iBook G3 600MHz translucent 2001. I have a 250GB HDD that I want to put in it but before I go through the nightmare of tearing it down again would it see the entire drive?

Posted by: max1zzz on 2014-10-30 15:23:42 you could always use intech's ATA high cap driver to use the full capacity of the drive. (but you'll need to partition it, one up to the 128GB limit then one over it)
Also afaik it's only available for OSX (but there wouldn't be anything to stop you booting os9 on the first partition, just you wouldn't be able to see the second one)
