Can I fix my Macintosh LC475's Video, Recap It AND then Overclock it? High stakes!
My vintage Mac and LC475 has poor video and on top of this it's capacitors are ALL leaking, causing damage to the machine! So we need to get into this machine urgently, to get those caps replaced and then find a fix for its ailing video output! Oh, and for good measure, we'll "overclock" it from 25MHz to 40MHz!

no, I doubt it

I think you should overclock it before you recap it. The extra heat might evaporate the capacitor goo off the board, causing it to absorb back into the caps and reform them.

But it might create a toxic cloud of cap vapour, and wipe out the local wildlife 😛
