| How to test a Glue chip? |
Posted by: smrieck511 on 2025-07-02 16:05:41 What would be the best way to test a glue chip from my sadly battery bombed SE/30 to see if:
A) the corrosion which has been cleaned off was enough to destroy it. Looks OK visually..
B) I didn't kill it with my heat gun trying to remove it.
Thanks for any help. All I have is a multimeter but no oscilloscope. |

Posted by: robin-fo on 2025-07-03 07:18:18 If you are doing a Reloaded board, then add sockets for all rare ICs. If it won‘t work, you will easily be able to swap in a known good GLUE if the board is not working… |
