| 512k Analog Board Distorted CRT |
Posted by: jasonfortheworld on 2025-06-23 18:48:44 I've got an extra 512k analog board that I've been saving for a repair and I finally got to it today. I recapped it and reflowed all the connections, but I still get the same extremely distorted and flipped upside down video on the CRT. Check out the photo to see the stretched and upside-down video I get.
I know the analog board is definitely the problem as this machine works perfectly with a different board.
Dead Mac Scrolls suggets a few different components might be the culprit, but I didn't see anything specific to this issue. Especially the flipped upside-down part. |

Q1 or Q2 maybe. |

Q1 or Q2 maybe. Dead Mac Scrolls also pointed me in that direction. May as well get a parts list and start swapping to see what happens. |
