Pico Mac Nano - wow!

Is it's creator here? If so, awesome, hope that the switch to injection-molded cases makes it even better.

Very cute. But where does it mention injection molding?

Hi, glad you like it.
Injection moulding is an option I’m looking into but it’s not decided yet. The early orders will be 3D printed and I should know if injection moulding is viable within the next two weeks.

I saw this the other day. Congrats! What a terrific project! 🙂

Ok, this looks cool and all, and the repro box looks vaguely correct, but let's get a start on all the problems:
  • It doesn't even come with a 1" x 2" apple box with 0.75" x 1" reproduction manual. No word on nano Apple stickers in correct colors.
  • 0.5x0.25" working mini tape cassette with Mac Plus tour? Forget about it.
  • Also, I have it on good authority that the floppy drive doesn't read 400K disks.
  • People have also described the key switches as "definitely not Alps" and having "minimal response".
  • Does this even work with BlueSCSI? Probably didn't even put in the extra resistor, so if it does work with BlueSCSI, we have to power it separately.
I, for one, do not recommend any readers run out to 47st Photo and buy this. Wait until it gets a full review in MacWorld or MacAzine.

I have, for you, dear readers, taken the fall and ordered so that you do not have to. So definitely don't go to this spot and glom up the order queue. Do not admire the System 6/7 themed ordering system. do not do it.
