| Copying sound files from a Centris 610 |
Posted by: jbezozo on 2025-06-04 10:46:36 I have a Centris 610 with audio files that I would love to move to my current iMac. These are Star Wars audio clips that are used for various tasks, like starting or closing a program or throwing away trash files, etc. This was my computer from college in the early 90s and I still have the 3.5" disks from AudioClips with all the sound files. But I can't figure out how to move the sounds to my current computer. Any one know if this is even possible? Thanks |

If they are, that's probably an easier way to transfer them 🙂 |

Posted by: obsolete on 2025-06-04 18:01:32 It would be nice to get the Centris fixed, but just to get at the contents of its hard drive, you could buy a ZuluSCSI/BlueSCSI, put it in initiator mode, and it will dump the whole hard drive to an SD card as a disk image without the assistance of the old Mac (except perhaps as a power supply). |
