Mac Plus analog board shield pins?
Posted by: Spacerog on 2025-06-04 08:04:33
I am sure this is answered somewhere but i don;t even know what they are called to search for them.
What are the little black pins that hold the plastic shield to the side of the Mac Plus analog board? I have a 1986 board that uses the doubled sided tape which has completely deteriorated at this point and would like to clean off the tape and use the pins instead. Where do I find those? What do I search for?

I think I got my bag of spares under the name of 'plastic rivets'

Yup. I found them.

"Snap-shank push-in blind rivets"
These are pretty close measurement wise

Assuming they're the same as the SE and SE/30, I bought the ones suggested by zigzagjoe here and they fit perfectly: https://68kmla.org/bb/index.php?thr...d-se-30-analog-board-plastic-push-pins.47859/

I'm adding these other links here in case someone finds this thread and not the others.

I received the ones from Granger linked above, they are about 2mm longer than the original but work fine. If I order them again I will try one of the other sources.
