| Macintosh LC and PurpleRAM |

Hi,
i got a Macintosh LC in excellent condition but with just 4 MB RAM and want to upgrade to 10 MB. I intend to buy PurpleRAM Sticks from Siliconinsider (https://www.tindie.com/products/siliconinsider/purpleram-16mb-4mb-x-4-30-pin-dram-simm-kit/) as I already have his SCSIknife and MacBatt - would match colorwise :-D
Can anyone confirm if they will work in the LC?

They should work just fine, I haven’t tried his specific sticks but gave used the two chip simms in lc’s many times and they always work fine |

Only problem is that you'll get four sticks and the LC only has two SIMM slots. 🙂 |

Yes they work! But original sticks are slightly thicker, I had to carefully bend the pins in the SIMM slots of my LC to make good contact and had them detected |
