I have a PB 1400 that I keep without a battery to avoid leaks. However, the PRAM battery is present and had been replaced. Sometimes I turn it on with the power supply, so the internal battery also recharges.
Recently I noticed when I unplug it from the power supply, after a while, the steady green light comes on and stays on, consuming the internal battery. If I plug it back in it won't start again unless I press reset.
The mac is in excellent condition, it has not been recapped but the electrolytics look good.
What could it depend on?
