Came across this on Reddit and thought it was worth sharing here. It may be one of the coolest hardware mods I've ever seen! The guy says he will share schematics and 3d printing files in due course... I would love one! The keyboard on the Duo is so bad |

I am working on a 2nd revision. the 1st version in the video above are using the Choc V1 switches which while they work, theyre too tall to support good keycaps other than those 0.5mm thick printed ones which ehhhh i dont like so much.
I might release V1 anyways for people to tinker with. |

Ok curious how v2 goes. I had schematics and a kicad pcb drawn up for my Gateron low profile switches and was looking at modding my stock key caps to fit the gaterons. But with all the tariff stuff, I am putting this on hold and will probably wait to see what you come up with.
I love my duo 280c after taking it on a recent trip but the stock keyboard is the worst POS ever made. |
