I'm restoring a Mac SE M5011 which has a Radius FPD 64KHz with a 9 pins port at the back see photos.
I found this software for Mac SE: https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/radius-system-software-v25, and
DB9 to VGA converters online but I wonder if this will work on a new screen or if I need to do something specific.

Posted by: Trash80toHP_Mini on 2025-05-06 16:44:09Excellent, just starting to work on that setup! Should have that board here in a couple of days, but no cable. Can you buzz the connections from 9pin header on the PCB to the DE-9F positions on the backplane plate for me? Looks like there are only three wires implemented? If so I think that'd probably be, Signal, Sync and Ground.
Hi Res pics of cabling setup and both sides of that board would be much appreciated. All hope is not lost. 😉
Any links to any info at all on these cards/displays would be appreciated Eventually looking to clone FPD and TPD cards eventually, but looking at nailing down output/scaling solutions first. Had some luck with TPD/Extron Scaler in the past...

I also found images of Radius Full Page Display hardware on the internet to include the archived Radius website from the late 1990's.
The Radius Full Page Display Monitor was upgraded over the years. It had three different horizontal and vertical frequencies over the years. The Radius FPD Monitor also had two different connectors over the years.
The Radius FPD interface card is not compatible with VGA. It uses different horizontal and vertical frequencies for the Full Page Display Monitor.

Pdf file has been updated with correct Monitor connector for 75Hz.

No BNC for the Full Page Display Monitors and Interface Cards.
Sorry, I've checked mine and it is flagged as a "Radius SE Display" on the PCB and "MPD/SE" on the ROM chips.
If someone has any info about the differences between MPD and others … 🙂
