| Recapped 166 Apple compatibility card. |
Posted by: imactheknife on 2024-12-31 07:29:38 So just in case anyone has this card and wants to recap it. My cap’s basically came off with little effort. Caps are 1 22uf 35v, 1 220uf 35v, 6 10uf 16, 1 100uf 6.3v, and 12 47uf 16. |
Posted by: alectrona6400 on 2025-01-01 10:09:40 very nice work. i always feel like the 1995-later macs with SMD caps are overlooked, but they are getting close to 30 years old for the old world machines especially. they do leak less but the seals can always have a chance of failing after so many years |

very nice work. i always feel like the 1995-later macs with SMD caps are overlooked, but they are getting close to 30 years old for the old world machines especially. they do leak less but the seals can always have a chance of failing after so many years Thank-you! Yeah for sure. What i find is that caps just fall off. I have seen leaks for sure too, so my personal opinion is that i will do all my stuff. Doesn’t hurt, well only the pocket book lol. I think things will always leak. They still can’t seem to make a double a battery that doesn’t leak. Not all, but they still do |

Posted by: Unknown_K on 2025-01-02 17:31:44 I have one working card and one I got for free because the Inductors by the top external port look charred which I never did anything with (plan on fixing it some day). I do wonder what somebody plugged into that top port.
The Nubus PC cards get all the love, but the PCI ones are interesting as well. |
