Fonts for Mac Classic 2, system 7.5.3
Posted by: Salty_1966 on 2024-11-15 22:40:07
I can’t find good font packs for my Macintosh classic 2. I already have typecase vol. 1&2 and Macintosh repository and Macintosh garden have files that are either damaged or irrelevant. Nothing much on eBay either because I don’t have a cd drive.
I’d like some cool, not basic, fonts hopefully on floppy.

You might need Adobe Type Manager installed to get slightly later Postrcript 1 fonts to work

.... along with many font packs available in Macintosh Garden

You can also convert any Windows fonts to Mac

I have a bunch of MacHome CDs from the late ’90s/early ‘00s that have hundreds of fonts on them. One would assume you could probably find images of these somewhere.

Overkill (still too many fonts are never enough): Adobe Font Folio: https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/adobe-font-folio-8
