Performer-SE-PL-CL BOM
Posted by: ironborn65 on 2024-10-22 04:59:20
I want to build the Performer-SE-PL-CL accelerator.
Since some of the members here already built it, I am wondering if there is a list of components shared in Digikey or Mouser.
A compatible Excel file to readily also'd works

thanks

Here, I built a cart at Digi-Key for you with the parts I used on mine: https://www.digikey.com/short/b7ptcrfw

The only difference is that I added ATFs to the cart for U3-U7. I didn't actually use those, I used these cheaper PALCEs from eBay, but they aren't compatible with as many programmers. Technically I didn't use that exact 68-pin PLCC socket either, I used some I had on hand, but they're equivalent.

thanks @obsolete , very kind of you.
Did you use the https://github.com/DavidGriffith/minipro-fork to program the GALS or did you go for the Windows one?

I used the Windows software in a VirtualBox VM, worked fine for me. I haven't tried out the open source software yet. For what it's worth, this looks like the latest version: https://gitlab.com/DavidGriffith/minipro/

Let me know how it goes. I hope to make this someday too

@obsolete thanks, I was not aware of the latest version.
@SECoyote. I ordered the PBCs and the parts ... + #2 68030 from eBay (Poland).
I need the GALs programmer as well ... and get some experience with it ....
I'll keep posted about the progress... it will take a while ... too many things in parallel, it's a sort of disease 🙁
