Maybe somone can advise... I have a one and only Mac clone, Radius 81/110 based on the Mac 8100.
I walked into my workshop and found it idling on its own. I can use the software shutdown command and the system quits, but the power supply & fan continue to run. The machine will not reboot until I unplug it and when I do plug it in again, the fan and power supply run and the machine boots without pressing the start buttton. Can you recommend anyone to fix this?
Appears to me like the controller that handles the power supply is not working. But I wouldn’t know how that is repaired. Bill | Posted by: dv- on 2024-10-11 07:39:47
Two things come to mind - power button stuck and power supply has something wrong with the soft power circuit.
I'd inspect the PSU and see if it's time for a recap. | | 1 |
