| Control Panel for CH Products Pro Pedals ADB? |
Posted by: mooseman on 2024-09-02 20:40:02 I picked up a set of CH Products Pedals (ADB connection) and there seems an amazing dearth of information about these out there. Does anyone know what I need to get these working under OS 9.2?
I've got a FlightStick Pro and it's working properly with the FS Pro control panel, but I can't find any control panel or drivers for the ADB Pro Pedals. Any help greatly appreciated, thanks. |

cheers either way! |

Posted by: mooseman on 2024-09-03 07:56:47 Sweet, looks like GameSprockets is what I need. Will give it a shot - thanks! |
Posted by: saybur on 2024-09-03 08:27:40 Just following along for interest, but does that library apply to ADB peripherals? I was under the impression those generally required their own drivers (but I'd be pleased if I was wrong on that). |
Posted by: mooseman on 2024-09-03 08:38:30 The description, at least, seems to specifically call out CH Products, but it's unclear if the (ADB) comment applies to them all or just the trackball. I'll try to find some time later tonight to mess around with it.
Anyone know a game that definitely supports the pedals? GraphSim Hornet, probably? |
Posted by: mooseman on 2024-09-06 11:40:55 Hmm. Well, I've installed InputSprokets 1.7 (as well as the CH Flightstick control panel) and still can't get the pedals to respond or do anything anywhere. Does anyone know any games that definitely supported the ADB version?
The archive link above sounds like it's specifically referencing the later USB version of these pedals. These are the first ones they released with the ADB pass-through connector. |
Posted by: mooseman on 2024-09-06 11:43:48 Okay, looking at the archive of the CH page I need the pro pedals control panel (MacProPedals.hqx file on their site) but obviously the file isn't there anymore. Anyone have a copy?

Posted by: mooseman on 2024-09-21 13:22:09 For future reference, here's the (apparently) only way to get the Pro Pedal drivers:
1) Go on eBay
2) Buy a NIB set of 199x ADB Pro Pedals (still sealed in plastic) for a dumb amount of money
3) Install from the floppy disk in the box
4) Have two sets of ADB Pro Pedals
5) ...
6) Profit?
I'll get these uploaded to one of the abandonware sites at some point soon. You're welcome, America. |
