MacOS 8.1 German for 68k Macintosh Quadra ...

I find MacOS 8.0 as german and install it but all 8.1 I can find are PPC (iMac) images ...

I need this for my Quadra700

8.1 installer is in fact a 8.0 install with 8.1 update installed right after and updated utility disks for HFS+ support.

You will find everything you need to properly upgrade to 8.1:

Is this an actual Apple site? I had to find my Mac_OS_8.1 from Archive. @franklyn : This link tells you where I found it. In my case, it was for my PowerBook 1400.

PowerBook 1400cs Serial port.

I've recently acquired a Powerbook 1400CS via eBay. It's running system 7.5.3 and I've converted it to use an 8GB SD card instead of the 750MB HD (I have 5 x 750MB partitions). I've tried to run Steinberg, Cubase Lite on it, which is a 68K application that talks to a Midiman MacMan 3x OUT MIDI...

Yes they are as they are subdomains from apple.com

Oh right. So, I think I tried to use the Apple site at the time, but it didn't seem to work. I think I used the LowEndMac links. Perhaps that's what the problem was.

You can’t browse the site you must have direct links to the files and some parts have been removed a while ago.

There is a lot of localized software still available, german having a fair amount of files.
