| Posted by: Lucretius on 2024-07-21 13:56:18 I have one of these with the 40GB HDD, and I'm wondering if there is a way to transfer all the data to another iBook. My plan is to remove the HDD and install an mSATA with a 2.5" enclosure ( which I've done several times ), and it would be nice if I could just be sure all the original data is safely tucked-away before I start. I recall using a Firewire cable to do something like this, years ago, but wanted to hear from an Expert the best way to do it this time. THANKS! | |

According to the infos you have a firewire port, so you can use target disk mode with it and another mac. | |
