I have a recent recapped LC II, which runs great except that it does not save clock, memory and boot settings after the cold restart. I installed a new battery and still have these problems. What should I check first on the board? | Posted by: Arbee on 2024-07-20 16:08:55
Assuming you have a multimeter, check if battery voltage is getting to pins 13 and 27 of Egret (U10). (With main power off and unplugged, of course). I've attached the Apple schematic, the second-to-last page shows the battery and circuit to deliver power to Egret. | | 1 |
