| LC 475 RAM weirdness - OS 7.5.5 |
Posted by: Kamshaft on 2024-07-11 19:00:28 I want to preface by saying that my general Classic Mac knowledge is relatively limited.
This mac - https://68kmla.org/bb/index.php?threads/lc-475-project-upgrades-mods.47687/
With me upgrading my mac to now having 64MB (+4MB on board) instead of the 16MB stick that was there before there, I was surprised to see the system ate up nearly the entire 64MB of ram after I dropped it in, and there was about 4MB free. It was the same ratio when the 16MB stick was in there. Can someone shed some light on why this happens? And if you have some tips to share that would be greatly appreciated. |

This, I guess...
