| MacSnap SCSI on 512k |
Posted by: crazyben on 2024-07-05 12:29:58 I recently acquired 512k that has MacSnap scsi card. The 512k got banged up during shipping and pins in the card is bent. How fragile are these pins? Can I bent them back or can i replace them? |
Posted by: Mk.558 on 2024-07-05 13:09:50 They can be bent back. But they won't take too much bending. Try using a 0.5mm mechanical pencil, take the lead out of it. Take it very slowly -- there's not many of those doohickeys floating around. |
Posted by: crazyben on 2024-07-05 13:39:15 I will do that. Thank you. I wonder if you can desolder the broken pins and solder new one. |
