There are two little standoffs at the front of the bracket that help hold the drive assembly in place when it's mounted correctly. If it's not positioned just exactly right, they'll prop up the front of the drive in the manner you describe. If you look at the assembly from the side when it's in the machine, the entire length should be flush with the assembly below it. If there's a gap of a few millimeters at the front it's not in there quite right. | | 1 |
