We know the original model was in Apple IIc white, aka "fog". The platinum model came out in 1987 alongside the platinum Macs. Was there ever an overlap that year when both colors of ImageWriter II were being made? I'm seeing some original owner platinum Plus and SE owners with the fog ImageWriter II. Granted, it could have been left over from an earlier computer, but I'm curious if there was some overlap period (or, more likely, just some old stock). | Posted by: volvo242gt on 2024-05-29 23:21:07
I'd suspect old stock... IIRC, the IWII went platinum when the IIgs came out in 1986. | | 1 |
