Posted by: Classic Finder on 2024-05-23 09:03:41
Hello, I have Power Mac G5 with no Mac OS X. I want install Mac OS X via USB (using Open Firmware).

But when I boot my USB, I see prohibited symbol. Please help, I prepared my installation USB in Linux, by the way. And I used this command for booting my USB:

boot usb0/disk@1:,\\:tbxi

I am not sure this is wrong or not, please help...
