Any Reason To Keep ProDOS Partition On MicroDriveTurbo If I Only Want To Run GSOS?

I am finally setting up an Apple IIGS I have had for some years. I have a 4MB RAM expansion card installed, a FloppyEMU, a 5.25" floppy drive, a 3.5" floppy drive, and now a MicroDrive Turbo installed. I think I would like my IIGS to boot into GSOS upon startup, and then I can use my FloppyEMU, or floppy drives to load up and play games or run software. I don't think I have much of a use for ProDOS, or the partition on the CF card that came with the MicroDrive Turbo that has ProDOS Basic on it. I am a bit new to all of this, and I am having some issues finding up to date resources and information for what I am looking for. Can anyone fill me in as to what the NOXARCHAIST partition on the CF card is? Is that the ProDOS Basic partition? Can I remove the ProDOS partitions and just have a GSOS partition and a blank partition for storing files and data, or are the ProDOS parititions required for GSOS to run? There are 4 partitions on the CF card that came with the turbo, PRODOS322MG, NOXARCHAIST, GSOS, and MDVOL4 (This is a blank partition)

GS/OS has to boot off of a ProDOS formatted partition. It doesn't support booting off of a HFS partition. By default, GS/OS installs ProDOS 8 and BASIC.SYSTEM to run 8-bit software.

Thank you! This is exactly what I was wondering. I appreciate the help!

Is there a way to make the MicroDrive Turbo automatically boot into GSOS instead of into ProDOS?

If you install GS/OS onto the boot partition it should automatically boot GS/OS.
