| SE/30 ROM Socket Question |
Posted by: smrieck511 on 2024-04-21 16:44:10 I found something suspicious in my ROM socket (see photo). the board chimes and boots fine but I get no video at all - total blackout. I've been going through potential issues in the video circuit. Is it possible that this is the cause? |

There are two other grounds on the connector, on pins 10 and 64. 30 and 64 are tied together, at least on the factory SIMM that I tested, so as long as pin 64 is good, you should be fine without pin 30. |
