SE/30 ROM Socket Question

I found something suspicious in my ROM socket (see photo). the board chimes and boots fine but I get no video at all - total blackout. I've been going through potential issues in the video circuit. Is it possible that this is the cause?

I think you may have gotten very lucky here. That appears to be pin 30, which is a ground. There are two other grounds on the connector, on pins 10 and 64. 30 and 64 are tied together, at least on the factory SIMM that I tested, so as long as pin 64 is good, you should be fine without pin 30.

Thanks for the info. Yeah it appears to boot fine...just the video issue of course.

Have you checked the soldering on the Analog board ?

Yep its good now. Replaced the UE8 chip.
