Posted by: onabeach on 2024-04-20 12:00:57I ordered a Lisa keyboard pad repair kit from an overseas eBay seller, but my order disappeared and there is no trace of the seller anymore. Does anyone know of a seller that can supply the repair pads? I could make them myself but would much rather buy a premade set.

100 Repair Foam Pads for Keytronic Keyboard, COMPLETE WITH CAPACITIVE CONTACT | Informatica, Computer vintage e accessori, Computer vintage | eBay!
www.ebay.nl
I think this was the seller I tried on eBay and it got cancelled. Probably was not thier fault.

the one I ordered my stuff isn’t around anymore.
You can also make them yourself. You need foam and a bag of chips! The chips package can be used to make the Mylar contacts from. But buying them complete is more easy.

That's a shame. I ordered pads from that seller as well as some cleaning floppies. Everything came quickly and his comms were great - he even sent more pads than needed and an extra floppy cleaning sheet - so I have spares. I wonder if maybe he was just out of stock? Very surprised you were not alerted to any issue. Oh well.
