I am going to attempt to get Timbuktu working between my office and man cave. They are currently both on the GlobalTalk network. Has anyone had any experience with this? |

What experience are you looking for? Timbuktu generally works rather well, the machine just can't be completely headless... If you're using it on a headless server, it needs to have a dummy plug of some sort hooked up to the video port. Generally a VGA adapter will do the trick. |

I did use it back in the day and was hoping to find out what versions worked with what Mac OSs and if anyone has tried it via GlobalTalk. I couldn’t find anything so did the testing myself. I found that I could run Timbuktu Pro v3 quite stably on System 7.1 through to Mac OS 8.6. And it does run over GlobalTalk. |
