I migrated my recently recapped SE/30 over to my Red @maceffectscase. Also, added an internal blueSCSI and Beelzabulb (thanks @Kay Koba) with a nice card access thanks to SmilingSavage’s beautiful wood expansion bracket. Rominator II from BMOW. This thing’s a ruby of a gem! Like a 1989 iMac.
I was able to get an Interware Vimage SE/30 pds card (on the way). Considering swapping the crt for an LCD that will display the output, but still on the fence as I like the look and feel as is.
I hope we can see easy access to grayscale ability for these someday down the line. |

Damn that looks good. I see that you're using Silicon Insider SIMM in your SE/30. Are they detecting as 4x4MB (16MB total) in your SE/30? I put 4x4MB in mine and they're only showing up as 4MB total. Can't figure out if its my SE/30 or the RAM. |

I heard greater expansion is detected with an appropriate rom (in my case, the rominator II) |

It came with what I thought was 4x1MB RAM sticks as well. I just pulled them out and tested them in my working Classic II and they're actually 4x2MB. Guess I've got some work to do on this SE/30, haha.
Edit: looked at the ROMinator II product page and read up on what it does. Looks like I'll be ordering one of those! |

Its using whatever ROM came with the system (only got it yesterday). It came with what I thought was 4x1MB RAM sticks as well. I just pulled them out and tested them in my working Classic II and they're actually 4x2MB. Guess I've got some work to do on this SE/30, haha.
