I'd love to get my hands on such a thing, but mentions of it anywhere else are scanty... does anyone know if this ever appeared on one of the various dev CDs or anything like that?

There are a few AppleTalk related stacks on Archive.org that might contain xcmds or xfcns you could fish out of the stacks?
I'll check my HyperCard related stuff folder when I get back to my desk. But I'm not too hopeful.

Yeah, I've looked there - no success, unfortunately. If this isn't nestled somewhere in one of the dev CDs or in someone's collection somewhere, I fear it's lost to time.

Ooooh, I'd heard of that - apparently someone wrote a whole Usenet reader in Hypercard with it! Hadn't actually come across a copy though; might be interesting to play with. Thanks!
