Recapping marathon
Posted by: imactheknife on 2024-02-18 07:56:00
I recapped two 8500 psu (one is in my 840av, a quadra 800 psu, portable psu, 7100 psu, 3 se/30 analog boards and power supplies.. in last few days..

most of my 50 plus vintage machines are now completely recapped. Hard to believe.. feels like what next…

Still have lc 575 analog, and going to do my high resolution apple displays. Hope to do the radius monitor and apple 16” as well..

I am missing the 12” pc compatibility card that goes in it. Believe it was a 100mhz intel computer on a 12” card. Rare to find and lots of money it seems

I'm about to do the same, recapping all 4 of my compact Macs. Thought I might as well do it just for longevity's sake.

Well, it took a long time and money if course lol. I now can start my own capacitor store too. Just more projects! It is nice to have a complete unit done and closed up and worry free. I can’t afford to put blue scsi in everything yet.. someday. Right now most have working hard drives still

Totally. I have one DB25 BlueSCSI in a SCSI chain with a Zip 100 drive, so I know your pain. I hope to get one for my SE someday, and the Classic providing I can get it running.
