What are the Slots/Ports on the Quadra 650 Board for?

Left one behind the NuBus slot is 040 PDS. Think the other is ROM SIMM.

Yes, the right slot is a ROM SIMM slot. Note that you need to use a SIMM module that is explicitly compatible with Quadras, such as the original "Lobos boards", Caymac's 4MB SIMM, or my own ISP-SIMM.

Otherwise you may damage either the SIMM and/or the ROMs on your logic board.

The most common thing that goes in the PDS slot is a DOS Compatibility card or a PowerPC 601 upgrade card.
