I was curious: with all the talk of mini vMac and Paul Pratt having seemingly vanished, has anyone taken any thought of looking back at the original vMac project? I was using the original PPC vMac the other day on one of my 1400s when that occurred to me. Obviously it is not the same animal, but its developer, Richard Bannister, is quite reachable. i mean you could, i just don't see why you would? minivmac superseded vmac completely... and the source is available. why bother with the older more limited code?

Makes sense to me, people just seem to mention that they need to ask Paul things and he is not available. You are right, Richard did port it. | | 1 |
