I was using the original PPC vMac the other day on one of my 1400s when that occurred to me. Obviously it is not the same animal, but its developer, Richard Bannister, is quite reachable. Anyone thought of going this route? | Posted by: finkmac on 2024-01-31 05:49:26 i mean you could, i just don't see why you would? minivmac superseded vmac completely... and the source is available. why bother with the older more limited code?
moreover, i don't think Bannister was the developer. He usually does ports of open source stuff to MacOS. | Posted by: joshc on 2024-01-31 05:55:18 what he said ^ | Posted by: LaPorta on 2024-01-31 06:22:31 Makes sense to me, people just seem to mention that they need to ask Paul things and he is not available. You are right, Richard did port it. | | 1 |
