| Macintosh Portable Sad Mac Error Code? |

After a recap of my Portable (backlit), it chimes but produces this error with and without the RAM module inserted:
00000003
0000FF00
Any thoughts what the issue could be?

It did not. Certainly because of a dead battery. |

I’m fighting a similar issue currently. The major code of 3 is a RAM fault. Not sure what that minor code means for a backlit Portable though. |
