| Help!!! |
Posted by: MacintoshSE1987 on 2023-12-26 06:28:01 I got a Macintosh SE, and when I tried to use the floppy drive, it worked, but when I tried to eject it, it didn't eject. And yes, I did try the emergency eject function on the drive. I need help and fast! |
Posted by: mikes-macs on 2023-12-26 06:43:25 You may have to open the Mac SE and remove the floppy drive. Then you'll be able to see what is going on and eject it manually. I suspect it may need cleaning. Why the rush? just don't power up the Mac until you can disconnect the internal floppy from the board.
I'm sure you are aware of the risk of electric shock if you're not careful, so do be becareful. |

Posted by: MacintoshSE1987 on 2023-12-26 09:45:51 Thanks to everyone! @mikes-macs, I have already tested the whole system and the hard disk works (thankfully), and yeah, I've found a T-15 screwdriver that is extra long for cases like Mac cases. |
