Posted by: Macintoshguy1984 on 2016-07-28 15:50:05 I have a macintosh plus and i put a floppy to boot it but later when i tried to eject it it didnt work. I tried using the paper clip method but that didnt work. I think part of the floppy isstuck in it.

Posted by: SlateBlue on 2016-07-28 16:02:27 If part of the disk is stuck, you'll likely need to remove the entire floppy drive to get it out. The manual eject button requires a little more effort than you might think. So, before resorting to removing the floppy drive, you may try the manual eject mechanism once again.
It wouldn't be a bad idea to remove the drive anyway so that you can clean and regrease it. Good luck!

Posted by: SlateBlue on 2016-07-29 10:55:27 That's good news! What did it take to fix the disk drive?

Posted by: Macintoshguy1984 on 2016-07-29 13:51:42 On the lower right side of the floppy theres half a circle that part of the mechanism went into it. I guess it got bent or something while trying to eject it. so i bent it a bit and got it working.
