| PowerBook 5300ce LCD Panel Part Number |

Hi all, wondering if anyone knows the part number for the 800x600 panel used in the 5300ce? Someone at some point swapped mine for a 640x480 panel and of course it doesn’t work how it should. It’s odd because the rest of the machine is still a ce model. Any tips would be appreciated! |

And I feel your pain on the 5300 cable interchangeability. I think I have the opposite situation you have - I have the 800x600 LCD but the cable broke when the left side hinge snapped. It's been 2 years since that happened and I still haven't found a replacement... 5300ce units are pretty darn hard to find. I've got it running with a 5300c LCD and cable currently, but it's nowhere near as nice as it was. |
