| How to open DC42 files? |

I downloaded some DC42 files from Macintosh Garden and I am having trouble opening them. I am running Mini vMac on a PC. I imported the DC42 files using ImportFl. When I try opening them with Disk Copy 4.2 it just does not see the files. I click "Load Image File..." and navigate to the folder with the DC42 files, but Disk Copy does not see anything. Is there a trick to this, or could using a PC for this somehow be causing a problem? |

Just drag the DC42 files into the Mini vMac window, and they'll mount as new drives. Don't use ImportFl. |

Or if you really need to import them and run Disk Copy 4.2, you'll probably need to set the type and creator IDs on the imported file before Disk Copy 4.2 will agree to open them. |
