4x ethernet port card for G4 ???

Posted by: ArmorAlley on 2023-11-13 03:05:23 This G4 looks to have a 4-port ethernet card in it. I know that Cisco made similar cards but for the Mac? Does anyone know about these cards and are they supported in Mac OS 9?

Posted by: cheesestraws on 2023-11-13 03:20:20 4 port ethernet PCI cards aren't uncommon. No idea if they work in OS 9 though - but classic MacOS doesn't have a networking model that tends to work well with lots of interfaces, so if not, it's not a big loss.
