I'm pretty sure this wasn't there a couple of months ago (I would have noticed, I replaced the hdd on that one )
 
This is particularly visible at a specific angle, barely visible with screen off.
I don't think this is vinegar syndrome (as this clearly isn't visible much screen off) altough it may well be the early stages
From what I understand, these are complicated to take part, the screen assembly difficult to open, so I might as well be selling that one for parts and look for a better one if there is no easy fix. | Posted by: 3lectr1cPPC on 2023-10-23 06:55:34 That looks like early stage vinegar syndrome to me. You can replace the polarizer film, but as you've said, that's a difficult process.
