Help! BlueSCSI v2 wifi - cannot connect to WIFI am I doing something wrong?
Posted by: AlpineRaven on 2023-10-02 03:28:51G'day all,
I am trying to set up BlueSCSI v2 WIFI in my Macintosh LC475.
Specs; LC475 running on full 68040 25mhz, 32mb RAM, full VRAM, nothing else is connected.
BlueSCSI - SanDisk 64gb ExFAT formatted (even tried formatting the SD card in PC, and using SD Card App as well) its not SD card at fault.
Fresh Installed MacOS7.6.1, along with updated Open Transport 1.3
Also installed DaynaPort 7.7.2 - only selected DaynaPort SCSI.
TCP/IP can see Alternate Ethernet but no IP addresses shows up, as soon I go to AppleTalk to select Alternate Ethernet - it comes up with an error saying that there is no network.
I checked the log.txt - it doesn't show if the wifi that is loaded or not.
Please see 2 attached screenshots and see if I am doing something wrong?
Cheers
AP

I know it doesnt show in finder (I don't know why) but when you go get info it does show full extension.

This is the first thing you have to do. The wifi support is only in this beta release.
Then you should have some more lines in your log file.
It is very funny to use Netscape 2 on a LC 475 to browse frogfind in 2023 😀

The stock firmware does not support WiFi yet. AFAIK, you have to install a different firmware which is in beta right now.
