| Editing registered name in Word 5.1 with ResEdit |

I honestly haven't touched ResEdit since the 90s, but there's really nothing I can mess up now that can't be fixed now that we have access to everything online...
I downloaded a full-install copy of Word 5.1 and would love to replace the registered names with mine. Where would I look to either delete the current registration (prompting a new key and names) or just replace. I really wish ResEdit had a better search feature (got really used to RegEdit on windows).

I have a vague memory that the registration data is actually stored in the data fork, not the resource fork, so ResEdit will be of dubious use. Try a hex editor.
Note that ResEdit and regedit do very very different things despite the similarities of name.
(But yes, the lack of a string search function in ResEdit is infuriating) |

Isn’t on garden unregistered version? Its easier to reinstall with fresh copy and name
