However, I tried using the file transfer apps and I got the message saying “no compatible BlueSCSI found”.
Is this one of those things where since both firmwares are in beta we have to pick between the two options? Do we feel like this might be combined in a future release?
Realistically I’m looking for a simple way to move Word files from my PB and Mac Plus to my PC so I can publish into the “real world” (I use the vintage machines to type to reduce temptation to multitask). I’m looking at using my RaSCSI on the Plus to act as a file server and possibly use my PB G3 Lombard as the bridge. Floppies are an option, but my 150 isn’t the best at ejecting them.
Edit: I do understand that the transfer utility is one way to transfer files in (or is it?). Just want to do both. | Posted by: joshc on 2023-09-17 23:55:10 You might be better asking this question on Tinker Different. The creators of BlueSCSI don’t post here anymore. Nobody here can offer official support. | Posted by: Daniël on 2023-09-18 00:01:04 On top of that, DaynaPORT emulation/Pico W functionality is still in beta, it's not unlikely the incompatibility with the transfer utility is due to this.
You might want to ask this question at the official GitHub page. | Posted by: zefrenchtoon on 2023-09-18 00:51:46 As already said, you should ask on TinkerDifferent, gitHub or ... on their Discord server / channel. There are two specific channel to discuss about blueSCSI v2 ("dev" and "support" channels).
There, you will have very quick answer (even if on github, they answered quite quickly too)
Also, on Discord, their server hosts BlueSCSI team and RaSCSI team together so they can join efforts. 🙂 | | 1 |
