Hi all. I've got a Mac II here with a 256-color 640x480 Toby card, and it's been increasingly getting glitchy pixels on the lower half of the screen. I asked about this on IRC at some point and it was suggested (due to the issue being localized to the bottom half of the screen) that it could be the extra VRAM on the card needing to be reseated. So, my question is: What am I looking for, and how do I actually reseat it? I'm hesitant to mess with it without knowing exactly what I'm doing, because I don't want to damage anything, so any advice would be appreciated. Nevermind, got it solved! There was one VRAM chip that was a bit loose, it's better now. | | 1 |
