Truth is though that the Bomarc schematics are a nightmare to read. Apple and Acorn schematics are a million times more understandable. |

Thanks! So glad to hear that BOMARC's schematics are problematic.
I know the squiggles are resistors, but the triangles and such leave me baffled. 😳
edit: I bought a book on digital design on a recommendation from @trag but ALL my books on electronics and the Apple tomes are in a box somewhere and not on my shelves yet after flood remediation.
Anything out there online in the meantime? Heading to work and Google during downtime. |

Thanks! So glad to hear that BOMARC's schematics are problematic.
I know the squiggles are resistors, but the triangles and such leave me baffled. 😳 Triangle is a buffer / driver, triangle with a circle in the point is an inverting buffer or NOT gate.
If you Google "schematic symbols" you'll find a crib sheet for the symbols. |

Bear in mind as well that various BOMARC schematics have mistakes in them. So reading them is one thing, but then there’s the odd occasion where the schematic is just wrong too. |
